What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a website to work; others, such as analytics cookies, are optional. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, are treated in the same way in this policy.
This policy explains the cookies used on vireonmedical.com, which is operated by Seccad Yazicioglu, an individual based in Istanbul, Türkiye. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are needed to run the website or to respect your choices. They do not require consent.
vireon_consent
- Set by: vireonmedical.com (first-party).
- Purpose: remembers your analytics choice so the cookie banner does not appear on every page.
- Contents: the value granted or denied, and nothing else.
- Duration: 180 days.
- Settings: Path=/ (applies to the whole site), SameSite=Lax (not sent with most requests from other websites), and Secure on encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
WordPress login cookies (administrators only)
WordPress, the software that runs this website, may set login cookies for site administrators who sign in to manage the website. Readers cannot create accounts or sign in, so these cookies are not set for readers.
Analytics cookies (optional)
We use Google Analytics 4 (a Google service that measures how a website is used) through Google Site Kit (a WordPress plugin made by Google). It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 (a setting that tells Google tags what you have agreed to).
- By default, before you choose, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are all set to denied.
- If you choose Reject analytics, they stay denied and Google Analytics cookies are not set. Google tags may still send limited cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded), which contain no cookie identifiers and are used by Google only in aggregate.
- Only if you choose Accept analytics is analytics_storage changed to granted. The three advertising settings stay denied.
Once you accept, Google Analytics may set the cookies listed below. They help us see which pages are read and how people move around the website.

- _ga_CJ8E1RBVX9: set by Google Analytics; keeps track of the session for this website’s analytics property; duration 2 years.
Advertising cookies
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run Google AdSense or any other advertising service. The Consent Mode advertising settings are always denied.
Fonts and embedded content
Our fonts are hosted on our own server and do not set cookies. There is currently no embedded content from other websites. If we add video embeds (for example from YouTube) in future, they will load only when you click to play them, so no cookies from that service are set unless you choose to play the video. We will update this policy before that happens.
Changing your choice
When you first visit, a banner offers Reject analytics and Accept analytics with equal weight. You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer of any page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops collecting from that point.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the vireon_consent cookie, the banner will ask for your choice again.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before adding or changing any cookie. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
