Corrections Policy

How to report an error in a Vireon article and how corrections are checked and recorded.

Accuracy matters more than speed. If something in a Vireon article is wrong, out of date or unclear, we want to know and we will fix it.

How to report an error

Email hello@vireonmedical.com or use our contact page, and tell us the page, the statement you believe is wrong and, if possible, a source that supports the correction. Please do not send personal medical information.

What happens next

  • We check the claim against the cited source and any source you provide.
  • If the article is wrong, we correct it.
  • Material corrections are recorded in the article history with the date and a short description of what changed.
  • Minor fixes such as spelling or broken links are made without a history note.

What counts as a material correction

A correction is material when it changes a fact, figure, risk, recommendation of a cited body or conclusion that could affect a reader’s understanding or decision.

Requests we cannot accept

We do not change an article’s conclusions because a provider or manufacturer would prefer different wording. Factual errors about a device or organisation are corrected; editorial conclusions are changed only when the evidence supports it.
